My Birthday This Year....

Well I dont mean to be a "poor me" but even though I have great friends and family that have wished me happy birthday, my husband is not home for the first time ever. He has called me a lot and told me Happy Birthday and that he loves me and wishes he could be here....and that helps, but dang :( Tucker sang me happy birthday and a lady from the ward brought me some yummy cupcakes. Tomorrow night we are doing dinner at my mom's and then the Christmas Eve festivities begin...PJ's, sparkling cider, a great book, and off to look at lights!! I cant wait, but it is bittersweet because my dear sweet husband will still be in Big Piney...all alone on Christmas. It breaks my heart that we will be apart but there is not a lot that we can do! We will celebrate Christmas for him on Tuesday night. Luckily, we are driving to Big Piney for New Years so we can at least spend that holiday together.

Brad's new thing...

Brad has this love for rims...and what can I say his vehicles generally have nice onces! Even when he was driving his 1986 Chevy it still had rims LOL! So the other day he decided that he wanted some new additions to his dear little truck. So this is what he got....
You cant see them very well but I have to agree with him that they changed the look of his truck. The only problem is now he is even more excited to buy a lift kit and a paint job! Boys and their toys!!!

The End of the 2010 Kelly Blog Book....

Well today is the final post of what will be in our 2010 Kelly Blog Book. It has been a great year!! Big events for us this year have been:

1. We moved into our house and out of the small apartment life.

2. Tucker turned 5 and Bryken turned 1.

3. We had a 50th Anniversary party for Grandma and Grandpa Nelson (wow, to really be in love that long is such an accomplishment)

4. We found out that we were having our third and final child....and its a GIRL!

5. Tucker started school-wow that was a sad day for me, but he was so cute and so excited that I really could not even cry!

6. Brad found a truck that he liked that we all can go in LOL

7. Tucker played basketball, T-Ball and Soccer and boy is he a natural. His favorite so far has been T-Ball, a little boy after my own heart!

8. We bought our Harley and we love it so much!!!

9. We found out that Bryken has asthma that comes with allergies, it is the worst thing ever for him, but we generally have it under control!

10. We planted our first garden!

11. Brad took a new job in Wyoming. We planned on moving there once I finish school next Summer but now that I am going part time next semester, that will be pushed back to the fall. Unless I can land the job as the school counselor and they hire knowing I am almost done...cross our fingers LOL!

And last but not least.....

12. Family road trips! I have taken a few this year just the kids and I...man it makes me realize how much I miss Brad around LOL!

2010 has been a really great year. 2011 Looks bright so far and I cant wait for all the things that are left to come! A new baby in Feb. will definetly spice things up for us and it is going to be amazing to have our little family complete!!

To my family, I love you with all my heart!!

Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas to Me!!

I love Brad so much LOL! I bugged him about the rest of my ring for about the first year of our marriage...then I kind of let it go. It has always been a thing in my mind but I figured that we would get there eventually! Well, Brad went out all by himself and found the matching set to my wedding ring! It so amazing and I LOVE it! He came to my work and surprised me with my new ring! He was so excited to give it to me that he could not wait until my birthday or Christmas and I am so glad that he didnt!!! My set feels complete and actually my finger does not feel so light anymore LOL! I have the best huband ever and I am reminded everyday how much I love and adore him!! Thanks Honey for the most amazing gift and all that you do for our family!

A Day Outside

Kelle and Bruce decided that it was time to get rid of their grass in the front yard and change it up, so we were there to help. Tucker drove the tractor with Grandpa and threw dirt most of the time. Bryken was found generally chasing after his dad or drinking my coffee...these two boys love it outside. I enjoy watching them interact not only with each other but with the outdoors.
Brad loves it outside and he has definetly made that impact on me. When winter comes I just want spring and summer!!! I love the holidays, but being outside is so much fun! Brad helped rake out the rocks and it looks pretty good all finished! I spent most of my time chasing Bryken and taking pictures, I know not much help right?
I love taking pictures of these two little boys!!! The are very photogenic and I am pleased to say that they are mine and that they are so dang cute!!

Bryken is my little helper!

Bryken finds it very amusing to unload my can cabinet. I find him sitting in front of the cabinet daily. He enjoys stacking them and I worry that he will drop them on his little toes and his moments of fun will turn into moments of tears. This was his newest master piece LOL....

How could I forget?

I do not know how I forgot to post our Halloween pictures! WOW! This year Tucker had his first halloween party and he had a great time. He was the cutest little cowboy ever. Bryken was a pot of honey...it was so cute!!! We did the traditional trick-or-treat in Malad with the family, it was a good time. We went with Bri and Kelty while mom did the trunk or treat, we definetly decided that adding two kids next year will mean we need all hands on deck. Brad was in Wyoming working and Matt didnt think that taking four little ones out in the snow sounds too amusing! We had fun though and the kids got way too much candy!

Our Thanksgiving

Brad had to work Thanksgiving this year so I did our dinner Monday night. We had turkey, masked pots and gravy, rolls, a veggie tray with dip, cooked carrots, and two homemade pies-banana cream and pumpkin spice cheesecake. Brad told me that I over did myself, but I just wanted him to have a Thanksgiving dinner too! It was really yummy and we were definetly stuffed!!! I set out our little china set and decorated the table with pumpkins, it was really great for my first home cooked Thanksgiving.

Snow is Fun Mom...

Leave it to Tucker to remind me about the happiness that snow can bring...I was complaining that it was snowing and my dear sweet Tucker said to me, "Mom the snow is Great! We can go snowmobiling with dad, we can make snowangels, we can throw snowballs, we can go ice fishing, we can go sledding down that big hill, we can eat snowflakes on our tounges, and have fires in the house." Talk about knowing what to be thankful for, lol , I love you Tucker Ray Kelly!!! Thanks for reminding me that I should be thankful for winter.

Bryken goes Potty!!!

So last night I decided that I would see if Bryken could pee in the potty kind of on cue. So I said, "Bry wanna go pee pee?" He shook his head yes and so we sat him down, and he started to pee in the potty!!! He was so excited and I was sooooo excited! So today, he went again in the potty twice!!! I am so excited to buy him a little potty seat and get this underway..I know that he is only 20 months but hey, if he is doing it then it isnt too soon!!!

Tucker and Soccer

Tucker played for the AYSO this October. He loves sports and I thought that it was great to have him in this fall. He played for the YMCA last winter indoors so the outside adventure was new for him. Tucker has so much energy and his favorite position is goal! He is really good at kicking the ball back down the field and he has a very powerful kick. I think that he will really love it the more he plays as he gets older as well!!! So until next fall, he will decide if he wants to play soccer for the YMCA this winter, and then basketball again....he is such a little athlete!

Brothers

It is amazing how at 19 months this little boy adores his big brother!!!! Bry runs around the house yelling "Cucker...Cucker...." and it is the sweetest thing that he just wants him around when he is at school. It was all Brad and I heard yesterday as we bummed around waitin for our little man to get out of school. Bryken loves Tucker so much. Tucker is the best big brother, he shares with his little brother...okay most of the time LOL...and loves to make him laugh!

Tucker the Tattle Tail!

I had Tucker in bed the other night and he was being so good watching a movie. Bryken on the other hand was being wild as usual. I told Tucker it was time for bed and we tucked him in...so I went and tried to get in the tub. I hear Tucker yelling,
"Mom Bryken is in my room." I headed in there to see Bry looking at him so seriously saying....
"ShhShhhShhShh!" I am sure that he was jus thinking "Crap he just told on me, quiet Tucker."
It was so funny! We laughed for a while! I love these boys!!!

How Far Is Heaven?

I know that our children are so close to our heavenly father but, there is nothing like a testimony building moment like I just had. I picked Tucker up from the bus stop and told him,
ME-"Tucker we went to the Dr. today."
TUCKER-"Did ya get that girl baby out!!!"
ME-"No, but we found out that it is really a girl..."
TUCKER-"Ya Mom I already knew that."

Isnt it special that they have a relationship with our heavenly father at years old and know things before we do?

Our New Addition.....

Well today Brad and I found out that we are having a little girl!!!! Yes I know it is crazy, but we are so excited and scared at the same time! We totally had a boy name picked out and we were convinced that it was a little boy, but after today....we are 99.9% sure that our new family member is going to be a girl. Brad is so excited he can barely contain himself, and I am excited as well. But man, as I started listing all the things that we are going to have to buy......talk about ANXIETY LOL! We cant wait to have our last piece to our Kelly puzzle.

Tuckers First Day of School

Well I know that it is late, but Tucker is in school now and he is loving it for sure. Today they started the bus program, talk about a relief for me! Tucker told me all about the lessons he learned for riding the bus and he looked so cute getting on and waving to me through the window. He is attending Monticello Montesorry Charter School and so far, I think that it is a good thing. They have singing time which he of course LOVES, and his favorite lunch items are chicken sandwhiches and bacon cheeseburgers LOL! Here are some pictures from that first day of school....

Happy Anniversary!

October 23, 2010 officially marked 6 years for Brad and I. It is crazy to think that we have been married that long and have two amazing little boys to show for it. I think back to 6 years ago and ponder who we were as people....me 18 and Brad 22, we were so young and had no idea that we could actually be where we are today. We have grown up so much together and I have to say that the first five years were really hard, and at times if you asked, niether of us wanted to stay, but all of the struggles and pain we went through has made us best friends and we love each other more now than we have ever before. I can honestly say that Brad and I appreciate each other and know that we have a great little family and we would not have it any other way. I love Brad more than anything in this world and I am so thankful that he works so hard to provide for our family. We miss him so much when he is gone but it makes it that much better to get to have him home! He is the best dad, our boys adore him just as I do. Brad is my best friend and the love of my life and to have both of those is what makes our family amazing! We have come so far and I look forward to rest of our lifes together to build more memories and raise our children together.

Bryken loves chicken!

Kelle has some chickens in the barn that she has lay eggs. It is great because we dont have to buy eggs anymore! And they are all home grown and I know that they are fresh...not chilling in the store for days..anyways, Bryken ventures out to the barn every time we are there and when the chickens are being loud, he yells at them and I just know he is telling them to be quiet. Kelle took him into the coop the other day, he thought it was great!!

A Ride on the Harley

Brad and I love having our harley. My mom and dad are so great to watch the boys for us once a month so we can take a much needed time for us...it is like our date night :) We rode out to The Golden Spike Monument in August with Bruce and Kelle. It was neat, they put on a reinactment of the actual event and Brad was recruited to join in, he even had to stand in front of everyone and give a speech. It was great!
It was really a great time. I think that it would be fun to take our boys out there on a Saturday while they bring the trains and sound the whistles!!! There was a lot about that day that I never knew!

Riding His Bike....

Tucker learned how to ride his bike this summer. He took off really fast and his favorite thing was riding down at the church. He definetly catches on really fast. He was very proud of himself! I cant believe that he is getting so big and so independent!!!
He is my little helper and I am so glad to have him as mine!!

Playing outside

Tucker loves the water...so we tend to buy him a few slip-n-slides each summer. Brad loved throwing him down the path, and Bry...well we will have to see if he likes it more next summer.

The little pool was fun too. Bryken would rather splash than actually get in but he did okay. I love playing outside with all my boys!!
