Day 1

Today I did okay as far as watching what goes in my body as well as what I put out. I started by thinking that this was going to be a weight loss challenge but I have come to the realization that it is going to be more than that. Today's scripture that I found appealing came to me after I had a conversation with Tucker. He was watching Charolettes Web and came out while I was making dinner and started to cry. I asked him what was wrong and he told me that he does not want to die right now and he does not want us in heaven, he wants to be here with all of the trees. I explained to him a little about heaven and how beautiful it is. I explained that we will be much older and we will rejoice when we all join each other in heaven. I dread those kinds of talks with my children....I realized that it is me who really is responsible for teaching my children what the right pathway is back to our heavenly father. I found a quote, "We can not control what others choose to do, and so we can not force our children to heaven, but we can determine what we will do. And we will decide that we will do all that we can to bring down the powers of heaven into that family we want so much to have forever." **Elder Henry B. Eyring.
How true is that? I mean seriously, it is me who has to enstil this love for the savior into my children, it is by my example that they will know I have a testimony of this gosple and know how much I love them and my heavenly father. I CAN NOT IMAGINE MY LIFE without my wonderful husband, children, parents, siblings, grandparents and all the other individuals in my life. I have recently watched someone who I love dearly go through a lot of pain. I think that it is important to remember that this moment of pain is part of our plan, and she is going to grow from this situation and become such a strong young woman. As far as healthy...today I did not have ANY soda! I drank 3 bottles of water! GO ME!!! So until tomorrow...good night!

Kid Update

I took the kids, well the two little ones, in to the Doc to see where they are in growth...
Bryken is in the 75% of kids his age, he weighs 31 pounds and he is actually short LOL. I do have to say that he makes up for it with his outgoing personality. He is pretty funny and ready to go at all times. He cried when they were weighing him but when he got his shot, he didnt even cry LOL!!!
Remi is 13.1 pounds and 25 inches long...she is where 10% of babies her age are...sooo needless to say she is pretty small. She still fits into her 0-3 month pants and the waist is big. We still have her in size 1 diapers! Lucky little girl, she is going to be a petit little thing!

30 Day Challenge

So for the next 30 days I am going to be posting often lol! I have decided that I need a total body make-over and what a better time to start than now? So I am doing a 30 day challenge where I am losing weight and figuring out a little more who I am. I figure now is as good as a time as ever. Brad and I will have our 7 year anniversary October 23 and I want to look much better than I do now so...starting tomorrow it is on. I am just not happy with me anymore and so I need to take a stand and get on the ball...so good bye fat Alexis and Hello to a new healthier me....

Tuckers First Day of First Grade

Tucker is in First Grade this year and he got glasses this year as well. He was pretty excited about his first day of school. He woke up and did his mornig routine without me even having to nag lol! He looks so cute in his glasses and I am so proud of him. It seems like yesterday it was just the two of us (since Brad worked out of town so much). He has always been my little buddy and I am loving watching him grow and change into the little man that he is. His teacher is Ms. Hirshi this year, we are hoping that she is better than his teacher last year, if things are not running better by Christmas vacation, I am going to transfer him to a different school. So we are keeping our fingers crossed!!!

Tucker

Dear Sweet Tucker

What can I say about this kid! He is my little buddy! He is the best big brother and he loves his little brother and sister so much. He muttin busted on Saturday and of course picked out the biggest sheep (pictures to come). He has grown so much this summer. He loves sleeping out on the tramp, fishing with his daddy, dancing, tormenting Bryken and making faces. He could play outside for hours if I would let him. I can not believe how big and smart he is. I love that kid!!!

Shayla and the Boys!!!

We took the kids out on the town one weekend when Brad stayed in Wyoming. The boys look soooo cute in their mowhawks LOL! It was so great to have Shayla up. She was the best babysitter ever! I always had a clean house to come home to and happy kiddos. I know that they kept her busy and I am sure glad that she did it for me! I showed her many yummy recipies and she ate some good and bad (egg casserole LOL) foods haha!!We miss her TONZ!

Bryken

Bryken is his very own little self. I love that kid so much but boy IS HE BUSY!!! He is finally potty trained!! Shayla was up for 6 weeks watching the kiddos this summer and she basicully did it for me!! It was so great!! We all really miss her...Bryken talks like crazy and he is sooo silly! He loves to dance and sing. Today we were driving in the car and Remi was asleep and he said, "Sissy wake up!!" It was so cute. He is a button pusher. He loves to touch everything. I find him playing make believe all the time and he enjoys his big brother and his daddy!!
